Fresh flowers are delicate, but with the right care, you can enjoy their beauty for much longer.
The most important factor is placement. Always keep your flowers in a cool area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and air drafts. Avoid placing them near radiators, air conditioners, or electronics.
If your flowers are in a vase, make sure to change the water every other day. Clean water helps prevent bacteria, which can shorten the life of your flowers. Trimming the stems slightly at a 45-degree angle also improves water absorption.
For boxed arrangements, it’s important to keep the floral foam hydrated. Adding a small amount of water every other day helps maintain freshness without disturbing the design.
Temperature matters as well — flowers last longer in cooler environments, ideally between 65–72°F.
With proper care, your arrangement will stay fresh, vibrant, and beautiful for as long as possible.
